I know you don't care, but its been a long time since I wrote anything here; I haven't sent, responded, viewed or much of anything here for a while.  The last time I wrote I was dreaming of the new 85mm f1.2 and now I have been using one for months.  It is maybe the nicest lens Canon has ever made.  Combined with my 5D it has of course made a perfect portrait setup, but more than that it has made low-light, selective focus work a dream to do; so many limitations have been removed by this lens for me. My website has really been growing in the exposure and sales department.  The mailing list of watchers that sign up for emails of image additio

I have had my 5D now since December and have released the shutter "6250" plus times.  I must say that I am more than happy with it. I have some nice L series lenses, but the "EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM" is my favorite horse in the stable. It is a lense that you can really count on in almost any situation.  My next acquisition is going to be the new "EF 85 mm F1.2 L II".  I tried it out at Murphy's, but I already knew it was the bomb!  Now I just have to convince the wife of the "Need" for the 2k :) Just found a new DA group that I believe you should check out; PHOTOIMPACT http://photoimpact.deviantart.com/.  It is a rather new group started

Things are gettng really going in the commercial site.  Made some updates and changes to the site and am getting some real commission work lately.  Steady as she goes, right.  I love what I do, Hope you do too.  I don' 't mean that egotistical, I mean I love capturing what I see and what I don't really see... Everyone keep up the good work; there are so many talented people here at DA; so many! ScorpioDesign (Paul)

...confused to why such little views..your work is great...!
Hello!

I hope you don't mind I featured your "Bowing Tulips" in my recent journal.

Have a great day!
thank you kindly for the recent favorites, sir... :blowkiss:
Thanks for letting me know. I think you should just keep trying other styles until you really fit into a niche you like. And I'm not going to have enough money for an 85 for a long time.. ;) I think I will get a 35/2 or a 28/1.8 soon though.
