I have been asked was it PS'd, but no, it was really captured that way. I just turned the corner and there it was, light coming from between two buildings across the street.

hi - well - what can i say - what a moment to capture

what it must feel like to be sliced apart by the sun - it gives hope to an old building - showering it with warm evening sun

what a great capture x

It has been leveled and a 5% saturation of the entire image, but it actually happened. My wife thought something was wrong with me at the time. I stopped dead in my tracks staring and she was like "what's wrong, you OK?" I just stood there staring. Right time, right place. Pure Luck!

I really enjoyed your gallery. Of all your shots this is my favorite. Especially because of the randomness of how you found the image, and I also really like the contrast of the cold building and the radiant warm light. In short - this is a great shot.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. It was just pure luck, but I was pleased as well. Your are quite right on with the warm cold contrast, that's what makes it for me too.

right place right time. I was out hunting for shots, me and the wife took the weekend out of town just for shooting, and we really got lucky on saturday. I got 6 of the new submittions on that day. It was so relaxing too.
